This is definitely a hidden gem that locals only know about! Small, not fancy whatsoever.. you actually feel like you are in Mexico! Prices are very reasonable, and the quality of food is excellent. All homemade it is the real authentic deal! Service was excellent. They all multitask.. I had the steak Chile relleno and it was hands-down the best I have ever had , including those that I have eaten in Mexico. I have been had the special of the day which was a burrito and he had shredded chicken for the meat inside. It was huge and he said delicious. I also ordered a bowl of red pozole to go I tasted it and it is again one of the best I've ever eaten! The person that is cooking the food here for sure is a MasterChef and quite possibly is not getting the recognition. They definitely know their flavors.! we have been driving to Sherman for years and somehow missed this place. It will now be our go to win in this area..
The food here is great! It may look small from the outside, but it works! Food here is better than most Mexican food chain restaurants and authentic.
i am Mexican 100% and i havent found a Mexican restaurant that real representative to our Authentic food and variety of Dishes its hard to choose because there all my favorite this place doesent look like much from the street , but ithis place is a true Gem restaurant .
Came here with my dad, visiting from Honey Grove. I'm a huge fan of authentic food and this place gave us just that. I ordered the huaraches which were creamy and with great flavor, just like you'd find near DF of other parts of Mexico. Feel is very mom and pop with reasonable prices. Agua fresca was a little too sweet but otherwise no complaints. Salsa was 10/10. Give them a try!
